Signs Point to Where?

Boston — You might have noticed a new set of street signs around Boston. They are blue and white and emblazoned with two words: “evacuation route.” The city put up more than a hundred of them late last year to delineate the various ways out of central Boston in a crisis as part of Boston’s new emergency preparedness plan. And perhaps you’ve asked yourself, “Where would I end up if I got behind the wheel and just started following these signs?”
