Wilkerson Complaint Reads Like A Crime Novel
State Sen. Dianne Wilkerson, D-Boston, is out of jail on bond after being arrested and arraigned Tuesday on public corruption charges. A federal criminal complaint accuses her of attempted extortion as a public official of and improperly using her position as a state legislator.
Her next court appearance is a pre-trial hearing scheduled for mid-November. WBUR's Monica Brady-Myerov reports on the case against Wilkerson as it was outlined Tuesday.
