The Associated PressBrown Claims $1.3 Million In Late Senate Donations

BOSTON — Republican Scott Brown says he raised $1.3 million in a 24-hour appeal for his U.S. Senate campaign.

The proceeds came in from across the country through a fundraising tool known as a “moneybomb.”

Brown claimed 16,800 people gave an average of $78 to his campaign.

He is claiming momentum in his race against Democrat Martha Coakley for the Senate seat held by the late Edward Kennedy. Coakley was traveling to Washington Tuesday for her own last-minute fundraiser.

Independent Joseph L. Kennedy – no relation to the senator – is also a candidate in the Jan. 19 election.

What this article fails to mention is that Coakley’s fundraiser is with big pharma and HMOs….hmm no wonder she supports the terrible Senate Health Care bill. The companies are bankrolling her campaign!

Vote for Brown to restore accountability and balance to the Senate!

I live in chicago (Voted against bho for senate) and I would like to support Mr. Brown. I hope they certify his win before dems healthcare gets passed. Either way it’s loose/loose for them. Where can I donate to Brown’s campaign?

It’s amazing to me that the Democrats are trying to stop future Senator Brown from voting on this upcoming Health Care Bill. We need to take our country back. This is Outrageous!!!! The momentum is building. He raised over 1 million dollars in one day. The recent Coakley ad misspells Massachusetts (Laughable!)
    {{{{Vote SCOTT BROWN Jan. 19}}}}.

Scott Brown is the right person for this Senate seat at this time. We’re Kansans but have contributed to his campaign and signed up to call for him at our expense to encourage all to get out and vote. His successful election on the 19th will not only help the great state of Mass., but also our entire nation. We won the great battle of Bastogne in Dec 1944 against all odds. Scott can win this Senate seat when all clear eyed patriots understand what is really at stake here and get out and vote for him. HOOAH!

Scott, Just sent you a campaign contribution from Ashland Oregon. Massachussets and the country need your leadership now.

@Matt Ristow — Come on! You live in Chicago, and can find a comment thread on a Boston-based radio station’s web site, and you CAN’T find Scott’s website with big “DONATE” buttons all over the pages? Do you think we’re stupid? “Marsha” posted here, too — and supposedly searched the entire internet to find out how to make a donation to Scott’s campaign. Give it up! You’re embarrassing yourself – AND Scott.

Brown is a good man who could help kill the health scare bill that is an enemy of liberty and freedom, the radical left in the senate need to loose power so that the american people can live in freedom protected by the us constitution.Conservatives are the number one ideological group in the country where is our representation.

The RNC is positively estatic and drooling at the prospect of Scott Brown taking the great liberal, Kennedy, senate seat. The RNC will, by hook or crook,
pour as much money as possible to help ensure this outcome. Money is no object. Personally, I don’t see how the people of massachusetts could reject Kennedy’s work and elect a republican. Republicans have only used massachusetts voters to move on to greater things and usually badmouth the state nationally after they’ve used them.

Ashland Oregon is behind you Scott! Several residents have sent a contribution to your campaign.

    GO SCOTT!!!!

  • Sherri Gray

I just donated to Scott Brown’s campaign. I live in middle America and we are pulling for you, Mr. Brown. Many of my friends here in the heartland are supporting you, too. GO SCOTT!!!

  • Susan O’Donnell

Scott, There is strong growing support for you from Ashland Oregon. To be a leader you have to do much more than ride the coat tails of deceased politicians!

You are Ashland’s candidate in what has become a national election.

    Good Luck and God Speed!
