WBURWhat’s The Difference Between A Burqa And A Niqab?

This month authorities in Syria banned the niqab at public universities. The minister of higher education said that the face veil, which some Muslim women wear on campus, runs counter to academic values and the traditions of Syrian universities. This comes as several European countries, including France, debate laws prohibiting Muslim women from wearing the full face covering in public. Here and Now takes a look at two sides of the debate over Islamic face veils with Hebah Ahmed, a Muslim- American who wears a Niqab and Mona Eltahawy, a Muslim journalist and blogger who writes about Muslim identity and favors a ban.

This is in regard to the woman who is suing her company for dress attire. If your place of business has a dress code of some sort then you should adhere to the dress rules of that firm/company. There should be no exceptions to the rule. I would not like to sit near someone with their eyes peeping out at me. When I visited Egypt I did not see too much of the Burqa/Niqab at all. As a matter of fact I was told such was banned in France, Syria to name a few. Please are generally scared by what is not the norm.
