Looking Out: A Summer On The Harbor

BOSTON — This summer, WBUR took to the seas — Boston Harbor’s seas, we mean. We found a cleaned-up, remade harbor, alive with art, sport and history. We fished for stripers, followed artists and inquired about the ghosts of the harbor’s past. We trawled for lobsters, tried (and failed) to swim the Charles — but broke a long-distance swimming record in the harbor’s waters.

As August draws to a close, we take one last look at our summer on the harbor.

Great Series, WBUR! Though I have always lived in the ‘burbs, I consider myself a true Bostonian, and the Harbor is a huge part of this history and culture that makes this such a fantastic place. I love to see in-deapth stories like this, educating me about a place I thought I knew. Keep up the great work!
