Mattapan Community ‘Traumatized’ After Murders
BOSTON — Residents of Boston’s Mattapan neighborhood gathered at the site of the quadruple murders to hold a rally on Tuesday night.
Among the marchers was Rev. Eugene Rivers, who’s pastor of Azusa Christian Community Church and runs the Ella J. Baker House in Dorchester.
The reverend joined WBUR on Wednesday to speak about the murders and their impact on the neighborhood. He said the community is “traumatized and shocked.”
