Police: SUV Seen Near Boston Shooting Scene Found

Boston's police commissioner says an SUV being sought in connection with the slayings of four people earlier this week has been recovered.

Commissioner Edward Davis told WBZ-AM on Thursday that the vehicle seen driving away from Tuesday morning's shooting scene has been found. There have not been any arrests. He did not provide additional details.

Police are also expected to execute a search warrant Thursday on a home near the shooting site. Officers sealed off the Sutton Street home overnight.

A 2-year-old boy and three adults were killed in the shooting at about 1 a.m. Tuesday in the city's Mattapan section. A fifth victim remains clinging to life in a hospital.

The slayings have outraged city officials and law enforcement, and frightened residents.
