Storm Brings Wind, Rain To New England

It's going to be a messy commute for much of southern New England.

The region is in the midst of a nor'easter that could bring 1 to 3 inches of rain and wind gusts of up to 50 miles per hour during the Friday morning commute. Drivers are being warned to watch out for pooling water on the roads.

The precipitation is expected to wind down by late Friday, but the wind will keep blowing through a sunny Saturday.

Forecasters say the storm could produce some flooding in urban and poor drainage areas.

A wind advisory was posted for much of southern New England.
