Shooting Victim's Family Asks US Attorney To Oversee Case

The lawyer for the family of Danroy Henry is asking the U.S. Attorney General to take over the investigation of his fatal shooting by the police.

The family's lawyer, Michael Sussman, says he has no faith in the police investigation.

"The local police authorities have said they have never had a case like this," Sussman said. "They have no capacity in my view to investigate it. There have been constant leaks from the investigation, which undermine the investigation."

Henry — a 20-year-old Pace University football player from Easton — was shot by local New York police while in his car.
