Poll: Sen. Brown Has Wide Favorability

BOSTON — Republican Sen. Scott Brown enjoys wide favorability and could be tough to beat in his 2012 re-election bid, according to a new poll out from Suffolk University and WHDH-TV.

The survey of 500 Massachusetts voters found 55 percent of respondents said Brown should be re-elected. Fifty-six percent say he’s kept his promise to be an independent voice in the U.S. Senate.

Pollster David Paleologos joined Morning Edition Monday to discuss the poll results.

I am a life long Republican as is all of my family and I am ready now to vote for Scott Brown for President in 2012. I have already made a contribution to him at the time of his taking the Kennedy Seat. He is a winner and our best chance to beat Obama is with Scott Brown.
