Facebook Founder Visits Harvard, MIT

Seven years after he dropped out of Harvard University, the founder of Facebook was back on campus Monday, meeting with students.

Zuckerberg answered student’s questions about starting companies. But he also told them they don’t have to do what he did: drop out and move to Silicon Valley. At a stop at MIT Monday afternoon, Zuckerberg said Boston’s tech sector has grown since he left.

"A lot of those folks, if they could find the financing and the engineering talent out here, which I think exists, then I think a lot of people would be willing to stay for a while," he said.

But he won’t mind if some of them leave. Zuckerberg’s visit is part of a recruiting effort to find more software developers for Facebook.
