The Associated PressEx-UMass President Still Collecting Full Pay

BOSTON — The former president of the University of Massachusetts is continuing to collect his full salary during this academic year even though he is on a one-year sabbatical after stepping down in the spring.

Jack Wilson is receiving his old base salary of $425,000 this academic year on top of the $150,000 in deferred compensation owed to him from the last four years.

Next year, when he begins teaching at UMass Lowell, he may earn almost $317,00, close to triple what the average full professor makes.

Wilson tells The Boston Globe that even though he is on sabbatical, he is not idle. He says he is advising new UMass President Robert Caret, developing new courses, and representing the university system on civic boards.

Critics say he shouldn’t be making so much.

Talk about greedy corporations. How about this GREEDY PIG MAN? CEOs and executives don’t suck down taxpayers dollars for their compensation. But this disgusting GREEDY WHITE MAN HOG does.

You never hear the left wingers complain about  the  greedy academia who actually get tax payer money directly. That wouldn’t be politically accommodating.
