GOP Hopeful Bielat Seeks Frank’s Seat

ATTLEBORO, Mass. — Another Republican has joined the race for the Massachusetts congressional seat being vacated by retiring Democratic U.S. Rep. Barney Frank.

Sean Bielat, who lost to Frank in 2010, made the announcement official Tuesday afternoon in Attleboro.

If he wins the GOP nomination, Bielat might have to face Joseph Kennedy III. The son of former U.S. Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II and grandson of Robert F. Kennedy, has formed an exploratory committee as a step toward running.

Bielat is a former U.S. Marine who lives in Norfolk.

Other announced candidates in the district that stretches from the Boston suburbs to Fall River include Republican Elizabeth Childs, a Brookline school committee member; Democrat Paul Heroux, an Attleboro businessman; and Democrat Herb Robinson, a software engineer from Newton.

Please take time to find out about Paul Heroux as this race develops.  He’s the real deal, and not a politician.  He’s a friend and my husband and I have talked with him at length.  Intelligent, decent, caring, committed.

ohhhhh nooooo….. please come back Barney Frank!  Save us from Republican scum….  yes, I’ll consider Paul Heroux….  I’ll consider a paraplegic chimpanzee as long as no additional Republican gets into the House… and especially not from MY district. Have we MassHoles no shame anymore? We elected moron Scott Brown. Why, why… what is WRONG with people?

Yuri!  You hit the nail right on the head.  I love Barney Frank and would love to see the former nude poser Scott Brown out…far out.  We do not need anymore Republican fools running for office of any sort.  Just look at crazy Mitt Romney playing switcheroo over and over and NOT paying his fair share of taxes.  Are most Republicans as greedy as those two?

“former nude poser Scott Brown” will be out there “twisting in the wind” when women get fed up with getting targeted as second class citizens.  That was really stupid of him.  A misstep that he can’t back down from without the flipflop charge.  Did you see that Romney originally said the Blunt amendment was dumb and then flipflopped.   Egad what turkeys.
