Woman Found Dead In Dorchester Home

BOSTON — Boston police moved quickly to make an arrest after a fatal stabbing in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood.

Police responded to a home in the neighborhood at about 2 a.m. Tuesday where they found a 70-year-old woman stabbed to death.

There was a young girl in the apartment at the time who called police. She was taken to a hospital for evaluation, but it is not believed she was hurt.

Police say they arrested an upstairs neighbor in connection with the death at about 6 a.m. The suspect was identified by police as 28-year-old Tu Nguyen.

Police did not disclose a motive. He is expected to be arraigned later Tuesday.
