Temps Made It A Beach Day Around Boston

Spring has just begun, but on Wednesday it felt more like summer outside.

At Revere Beach, Brittany Rocheleau and her friends didn't seem to mind being stuck in town during their Spring Break this year.

"I mean it's early, it's March, and we wanna get working on our tans as early as we can," she said.

Rocheleau wasn't skipping class, but some beach-goers were... with their parents' consent. Alicia Dainato, of Revere, took her 5-year-old daughter out of preschool to play in the sand.

"I know that the summer's coming, but why not have a day?" Dainato said.

"It's kinda early right now. It's kinda crazy seeing people in their bathing suit," said Krystan McKenzae, who was also at the beach Wednesday.

Thursday's weather is expected to be even warmer, and then a cooldown is predicted for the weekend.
