Boston Globe Admits To Using WBUR Material Without Attribution

BOSTON — The Boston Globe has admitted to using material without attribution from a column by WBUR Republican commentator Todd Domke in a Globe editorial.

The Globe editorial contained passages and quotations strongly resembling portions and ideas from the Domke column, published Aug. 15, a few days before the Globe editorial. The WBUR commentary criticized Vice President Joe Biden’s comments on bank regulations.

The use of material without attribution was inconsistent with Globe policies, and the Globe regrets the error.
