Foxborough officials are not commenting on a federal class action lawsuit claiming the town's police department wrongfully detains concertgoers at Gillette Stadium.

The suit was prompted by two Maine men who were put into protective custody during a Bruce Springsteen concert last month. They were part of a group who took a bus trip from Maine to attend the concert. They admit they were drinking before the show, but claim that even though they were not legally intoxicated police held them for six hours.

Attorney Howard Friedman, who filed the suit, joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the case.

This program aired on September 26, 2012.
