BOSTON — Boston police have charged a 14-year-old boy in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood about a week ago.
Police say they arrested the local teen on a murder charge Saturday in the death of 39-year-old Cherby LaJoie of Boston, who was stabbed multiple times on Charles Street on Oct. 6. LaJoie was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities haven’t released the name of the teenager or said if he had any relationship with the victim.
Police say they’re still investigating the killing and are urging anyone with information about the stabbing to call them.
