Director Of Greenway Conservancy To Leave

BOSTON — The longtime head of the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy is stepping down.

The Boston conservancy reports that Nancy Brennan will leave her post as executive director in January to take a position at the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco.

Brennan has led the conservancy since its creation in 2005. She has recently been criticized over her salary and whether the agency should receive public funding.

In a statement, Brennan said it was her decision to move on.
