Analyst: ‘Tough Time For Republicans’ In Mass.
BOSTON — After a number of high-profile Republicans said they won’t run in the special U.S. Senate election — including former Sen. Scott Brown, former Gov. William Weld and Mitt Romney son Tagg — a GOP candidate is likely to announce a run Tuesday.
State Rep. Daniel Winslow, of Norfolk, has scheduled a news conference Tuesday to announce his intentions, and The Boston Globe reports he’ll announce he’s “in.”
