The field is set for the special election for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts.

On primary day, April 30, U.S. Reps. Stephen Lynch and Edward Markey will square off for the Democratic nomination. On the Republican side, three candidates are competing: state Rep. Dan Winslow, of Norfolk, Cohasset businessman Gabriel Gomez, and former U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan.

Republican analyst John Sivolella and Democratic analyst Susan Tracy joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss the race.
