GOP Sen. Hopeful Winslow Pitches Lower Taxes In Ad

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Daniel Winslow is launching his first radio ad, focusing on what he calls his job creation plan.

Winslow says he wants to cut the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 26 percent, which he said would make American businesses more competitive, so they create jobs.

Winslow says he also wants to make taxes flatter and fairer for large and small businesses by repealing billions in what he describes as "corporate welfare and special interest loopholes."

The Norfolk state representative and former judge is facing off against Cohasset private equity investor Gabriel Gomez and former U.S. Attorney Michael Sullivan in the Republican primary.

Democrats Stephen Lynch and Edward Markey are competing in the Democratic primary.

The primaries are April 30. The special election in June 25.
