BOSTON — Boston Police say one person is dead and another wounded in a shooting in Roxbury Friday afternoon.

The shooting happened just after 1:30 p.m. in a drugstore parking lot on Warren Street.

Police have not yet released details about the victims, and no arrests have been made.

The Boston Herald reports police are searching for two suspects in the shooting.

Boston Police are also investigating a fatal shooting early Friday morning in an apartment at 41 Prentiss St. in Roxbury.

A man was killed and a woman was wounded in that incident. The victims have not been identified.

Boston Police did not say if they believe Friday’s two fatal shootings are related.

Boston Police are encouraging anyone with information on the shootings to call the Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470. Individuals who want to provide anonymous information can contact the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or text the word “tip” to CRIME (27463).

        we should just lock it down permanently, arrest everyone under 26, confiscate all cookware, guns, sharp or pointy objects, tweezers, shoes, belts, violent video games, hard things, matches and sparklers. then we will finally be safe!

      as long as its not cute white kids or women the media only cares if it has good video or is as horrific as the mattapan massacre but even that has not received much press and i dont know if it got any national press
