Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley is criss-crossing the state in her first week as an official candidate for governor.

She kicked off her campaign Monday in Medford, where she lives now. Tuesday she heads out west, with stops that include North Adams, where she grew up.

Coakley joined WBUR’s Morning Edition to discuss her campaign, in which she is making education a priority.
