Mattapan's Youth In Crisis Ministry Plays Santa For Thousands

As last-minute shoppers race to find that perfect gift ahead of Christmas, Tony Seymore is finishing a marathon of sorts.

Seymore, the founder of Youth In Crisis Ministry in Mattapan, works with troubled young people and plays Santa for thousands of Boston-area kids with his annual toy drive.

Between donation pick ups, we sat down with Seymore and Betty Cohen, a one-time beneficiary of the toy drive and a long-time volunteer for Youth in Crisis Ministry. At a busy Dunkin' Donuts in Mattapan, we asked what the toy drive means to each of them and to the people they're helping.
