Artery To Art: The Evolution Of Dewey Square

BOSTON — From an elevated highway to an open park to a protest site, Dewey Square has come a long way in its evolution into a public art space. In just a couple of weeks, a new mural, commissioned by the Museum of Fine Arts and created by artist Shinique Smith, will cover the 70-by-70 foot air intake structure located on the Rose Kennedy Greenway between Summer and Congress streets.
