Nearly every political poll shows the race for governor of Massachusetts is essentially tied, which means Democrats and Republicans are scrambling to find an edge as election day creeps closer.

They're looking to money, political titans and partisan punches to find that edge, and WBUR's Asma Khalid joins Morning Edition to report on how gubernatorial hopefuls Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Charlie Baker are attempting to boost their campaigns.
