2 Killed In Unrelated Chelsea Shootings
Authorities have released the names of the two people fatally shot in Chelsea over the weekend.
The victims were killed a little more than an hour apart in unrelated shootings Saturday morning.
The district attorney's office says 35-year-old Catherine Gomez was shot just after midnight Saturday while looking out her window. Police do not think she was targeted, but was the victim of a stray bullet fired from the street during an altercation between two groups.
Juan Rodriguez of Lynn was shot at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday inside the French Naturalization Club after an argument erupted in gunfire. The 36-year-old Rodriguez died at the hospital.
No arrests have been made in either shooting and police are asking that anyone with information to come forward.
