South Boston High School Hosts Frank, Positive Discussion On Race

The deaths of black men at the hands of police throughout the country have sparked calls for more open dialogue about race in the U.S.

One possible setting for that dialogue: schools.

WBUR's Delores Handy visited Excel High School in South Boston, which devoted a class period to an all-school conversation about race.
