As Tensions Rise Over Obama's Climate Plan In Other States, Mass. Leaders Show Bipartisan Support
ResumeEven before President Obama announced his new energy plan Monday, the fight over it had already begun.
At least 15 state attorneys general are said to be preparing a legal challenge to the plan, which would require deep cuts in climate-changing emissions from power plants. But in Massachusetts, the proposal is drawing bipartisan support.
Bradley Campbell, the new president of the Boston-based Conservation Law Foundation, was instrumental in negotiating some of New England's key climate change regulations. He joined Morning Edition to talk about how Obama's proposal could effect Massachusetts' energy future.
