Eleven new Hubway stations are being installed in Boston this week — the first expansion of the bike-share system since 2013.

The Hubway expansion, as we reported last month, will bring stations to Roxbury, Dorchester, Charlestown, Brighton, South Boston and Fenway.

Hubway launched in Boston in 2011 with 60 stations and 600 bikes. This expansion will bring the total number of stations to 108 with about 1,100 bikes, according to the city.

Here are the locations of the new stations:

  • Brighton Center
  • Brock Street and Washington Street, Brighton
  • Main Street at Eden Street, Charlestown
  • Bunker Hill Community College, Charlestown
  • Dorchester Avenue and Harbor View Street, Dorchester
  • Wentworth Institute of Technology, Fenway
  • Nashua Street at Martha Road, North Station
  • Franklin Park at Seaver Street, Roxbury
  • Franklin Park Zoo Roxbury
  • The Lawn on D, South Boston Waterfront
  • West Broadway at D Street, South Boston

Four other station locations — in Savin Hill, Jamaica Plain, the Seaport District and the South End — are still pending due to permit issues.

As we previously reported, the city is also planning to expand the bike-share system further next year and is looking to bring Hubway into East Boston — a new neighborhood for the system.
