Word of one biggest tech industry deals in the history of the U.S. is reverberating through metro Boston today.

Dell, known for personal computers, is buying Hopkinton-based EMC in a sale valued at $67 billion. Leaders of both companies say Hopkinton will continue to be a tech hub, but industry watchers say some are worried.
