Primary elections in Indiana have the left front-runner in the Republican Party, Donald Trump, even further ahead. The GOP contest is down to just two candidates.

Ted Cruz dropped out of the race, delivering a speech to supporters Tuesday night explaining that he no longer sees a "viable path to victory."

WBUR's political analysts — Republican Todd Domke and Democrat Dan Payne — joined Morning Edition to discuss Cruz's departure, as well as Democrat Bernie Sanders' victory over Hillary Clinton in Indiana.

This segment aired on May 4, 2016.
