“Why would you want to take my photo? My eyes look very sad. I’m always sad.”

“Why are you always sad?”

“My son was killed by a drunk driver on Christmas Day. I always get sad around the holidays. And I’m homeless. I stay with my cousin.”

“Do you have other children?”

“I do, but they don’t know my situation. I lost the address.”
