New Balance To Use 3D Printing For Custom-Made Shoes

A Boston footwear company and a Somerville high tech company are about to put 3D printing to commercial use.

Beginning next year, New Balance is says it will use 3D equipment made by Formlabs to produce custom-made athletic shoes.
