Conor O'Brien probably thought he'd be performing with more people than just himself. But when his Dublin-based college trio imploded, he decided to strike out on his own and create a one-man band called Villagers.

O'Brien writes all the songs and plays most of the instruments on his debut album,"Becoming A Jackal," that's been nominated for Britain's equivalent of a Grammy for best new album of the year. We caught up with him as he wrapped up his first U.S. tour.

This segment aired on November 24, 2010.
