Turkey Takes Center Stage In Global Economy, Middle East

Turkey has the world's 16th largest economy, growing at a rate similar to China. But analysts are watching nervously, because of Turkey's history of booms and busts, and also because or Turkey's newfound role as a player in the Middle East.

What happens if its economy and its diplomatic muscle both fail? We speak with Stephen Kinzer, former New York Times foreign correspondent, who now teaches journalism and international relations at Boston University. His latest book is "Reset: Iran, Turkey, and America’s Future."
