Republican Bob Turner has a slight lead over Democrat David Weprin, and it turns out that the state of Israel is becoming an important issue for voters.

The district is heavily Jewish and Democratic.  But polls show that voters believe that the Republican, Turner (who's Catholic) is a bigger bigger supporter of Israel than the Democrat, Weprin (who's an Orthodox Jew).
