That didn't take long.

The Oxygen Network has announced that it is canceling plans to air its one-hour reality special, "All My Babies' Mamas." The show about Carlos Walker, aka rapper Shawty Lo, his ten kids and their 11 mothers drew almost universal outrage.

Sabrina Lamb, a New York author, launched an online petition to cancel the show, and garnered more than 37,000 signatures.

Lamb called the program "stereotypical, misogynistic, pornographic, demonic on every single level." She said Oxygen was a network established to support young women, but instead it was exploiting them.

Oxygen refused to say whether the online pressure factored into its decision to pull the show, but said in a statement: "As part of our development process, we have reviewed casting and decided not to move forward with the special."

This segment aired on January 17, 2013. The audio for this segment is not available.
