How California Fights Wildfires In A Drought
ResumeCalifornia has been suffering a severe drought for the past few years, and this year has been the worst. With the hot and dry conditions persisting and the onset of the Santa Ana winds, wildfires are sweeping across Southern California.
But how do you fight fires when water is scarce? Daniel Berlant of Cal Fire, California's Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, joins Here & Now's Sacha Pfiffer to talk about how they are extinguishing fires with limited water and where the water is coming from.
