Verizon Is More Than A Phone Service Company
ResumeVerizon Communications is often thought of as a phone service provider, and for good reason. The company has a decades-long history as a landline provider and is now the second-largest wireless communications service provider in the United States. But the company is more diverse than that.
In 2015, Verizon's purchase of AOL gave it content providers like TechCrunch and the Huffington Post. AOL also brought an ad technology business. Now, Verizon is preparing to bid for Yahoo, which would bring even more Web presence.
