United Airlines says it will soon begin charging for use of its overhead bins.

The change comes along with the company's new pricing tier, which will offer a new option called "basic economy." They say that option could save customers money, with the one drawback that you'll have to pay an extra $25 for those bags a little too big to fit under a seat.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson hears more about the new pricing from Seth Kaplan, managing partner for Airline Weekly.

This segment aired on December 8, 2016.
