This week the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed above 21,000 for the first time ever, just a few weeks after hitting 20,000. That is the fastest 1,000-point jump in nearly 20 years.

Here & Now's Jeremy Hobson speaks with Georgetown University associate professor James Angel about what's behind the rise, and also a report in CNBC about insiders selling off stocks at "rarely seen" levels.

This segment aired on March 3, 2017.
