Basquiat Exhibit In Denver Offers Portrait Of The Artist's Early Period

An exhibit now on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver shows never-before-seen artwork by the late Jean-Michel Basquiat. Basquiat is best known for his street graffiti and large paintings.

But as Corey H. Jones (@CPRJones) of Here & Now contributor Colorado Public Radio reports, the exhibit looks at the years before the artist was well-known, when he painted on the walls of a New York apartment and on small objects like jars.
