House Speaker Paul Ryan is trying to secure votes for the Republican health care overhaul bill to push it to a floor vote Thursday. Many Freedom Caucus conservatives say they don’t think it goes far enough to repeal provisions in the Affordable Care Act, and they want to make changes that could cause moderate Republicans to pull their support.

Here & Now’s Jeremy Hobson talks with NPR's Alison Kodjak (@alikodjakNPR) about whether the bill is likely to pass in the House.

This segment aired on March 23, 2017.
