The House is expected to vote Friday on an overhaul of the nation’s health care system.

President Trump and his administration have been pushing the bill, alongside House Speaker Paul Ryan. They need 215 Republican votes in order to send it on to the Senate, but there are still dozens of holdouts that could derail the president's first major initiative in Congress.

NPR's Domenico Montanaro (@DomenicoNPR) joins Here & Now’s Robin Young to discuss the latest.

This segment aired on March 24, 2017.
