Tuesday's special election in Georgia's 6th Congressional District has garnered national attention as a mini-referendum on the Trump administration. The race pits Republican Karen Handel, a 55-year-old former secretary of state, against Democrat Jon Ossoff, a 30-year-old filmmaker.

Pundits say the election will be a test of young voter turnout. But will a young candidate bring out young voters? Sam Whitehead (@sclaudwhitehead) of Here & Now contributor Georgia Public Broadcasting reports.

This segment aired on June 19, 2017.
