There are about 190,000 people from El Salvador living and working in the U.S. under a federal program called Temporary Protected Status. The Trump administration recently canceled TPS for three other countries, and now a deadline looms in January to decide what will happen to Salvadorans.

Matthew Casey (@matthewcasey3) of KJZZ reports on one Tucson man who's been in the program for nearly 16 years.

This segment aired on December 8, 2017.
