Levels of influenza this year are on track to top numbers seen at the peak of the Swine Flu epidemic of 2009, and have already surpassed number from the severe outbreak of 2003, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The third week of January was a particularly deadly week, with over 4,000 deaths.
