Boko Haram Accused Of Another Mass Kidnapping In Nigeria

Nigeria's President Muhammadu Buhari is under increasing pressure to step down after the mass kidnapping of 110 schoolgirls in the northeastern town of Dapchi last month.

Authorities say the girls were abducted by members of the Islamist group Boko Haram, dredging up memories of the 2014 abductions in Chibok, Nigeria, that spawned #BringBackOurGirls. One hundred of the 276 girls kidnapped there remain missing to this day.

Here & Now's Peter O'Dowd speaks with the BBC's Stephanie Hegarty (@stephhegarty), who has been reporting on the story from Nigeria.

This BBC interview can be heard in the Here & Now podcast or with the WBUR app.
